Box Springs Mountain Park Moreno Valley | CA
2019 | WINTER
** Ohh girl, I thought I almost died like twice! But I’m also very dramatic.
If you dig on all things outdoors and livin’ in California, chances are you’ve heard about our super blooms. In an effort to see all things flower power, we’ve started a long list of must sees this spring.
Follow and #LadyHikers with yours too 🌼🌷🌸
A fellow lady hiker friend and I hit the highway on Saturday for the hour or so drive to Moreno Valley, CA. It’s spring time, so we went on the later side of the morning. If it were summertime, I’d suggest an early departure because you’re going to get a little sweaty today!
I LOVE Box Springs Mountain Park. There are a variety of hiking trails that can take you to incredible views. We could see miles about miles of gorgeous southern California. Pups, hikers and families were on the trail and there are parking spots up at the park. There’s also some picnic tables and a Porta-Potty.
The rains have left it so incredibly green, like neon cotton throughout gorgeous rolling hills. It is reminiscent of Dutch countryside or some of the things I saw in Iceland’s countryside.
You can take it to various physical activity levels here, plenty of hills to get your thighs burning. Just remember if it’s spring or fall to layer lightly.
